Think It May Be Time To Use Some Good Eye Cream

It may have taken me 27 years, but I have finally got myself an eye cream I actually like.

After lots of research online, I decided to try the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.

The eye cream is enriched with avocado oil, Vitamin A and fatty acids to provide intense hydration to the delicate eye area.

It has a thick consistency which rubs in to your skin easily. It moisturises my skin so well and considering it is so thick, it is still fine to use under your make up too. I have noticed that under my eyes is a lot more hydrated than usual after using this once-twice a day for a few weeks. It really is the perfect treatment for tired eyes and for people who want a more deeply hydrating eye cream.

It is only a 14g pot, which I am sure would put some people off, but a small amount goes a lonnnggg way with this cream, I have been using it for a few months now and I have not even used half the tub. So considering it is £20.00, it actually is quite reasonably priced compared to some other eye creams out there.

The only negative is that when my eczema is flared up on my face, if I put this cream on my eyes it hurts so so bad. So I tend to only use it when my skin is okay. This does make me wonder though whether it is suited for those with very sensitive skin.  I haven't really noticed any difference when it comes to my undereye bags though, so if that is your main reason for purchasing this, maybe give it a miss.

You can buy it from the Kiehl's website here for £20.00.

Have you tried this before? Do you have any good eye creams you can recommend to me?

Love Lauren
xoxo

  6. Avocado in eye cream sounds amazing, but it's a shame you can't use it if you have eczema flare ups. I actually haven't started wearing eye creams yet, since I'm in my mid-20s, I'll really need to start soon before it's too late.

  8. I definitely need a new eye cream and I love Kiehls so this sounds right up my street. This is also the second good review of this I've read in a couple of weeks so it must be brilliant. As for the size, a lot goes a long way so I suppose its not as small as people would think! x

  13. I love this eye cream, my only gripe with it is how big the pot is. It looks like a tiny pot however I never seem to finish it regardless of me applying it day and night, just feels wasteful. I'd love it if they came out with a smaller pot (and at a cheaper price too haha)

  15. Completely agree that eye cream is important, especially at a young age.. it's easier to prevent rather than try to get rid of wrinkles. Thanks for sharing! 18. Ohh it doesn't sound good if your skin had a bad reaction... Maybe you should avoid it after all :/ I've been testing out an Eminence Cucumber eye gel... and I really like it... Maybe give that one a go? xx
